The project

Built directly into the slope, the house is organised in stepped layers that follow the natural terrain.

From the street, the upper level appears lighter and more open, sitting on a solid base that anchors the house into the hillside. A continuous canopy defines the upper floor, extending horizontally and giving the façade its rhythm.

Below, the ground floor opens almost entirely towards the sea. Large glass panels slide away, connecting the living spaces directly to the terrace and pool. The water line is positioned to align visually with the horizon, reinforcing the connection to the landscape.

The structure is clear and legible. Load-bearing volumes remain solid and grounded, while openings are precise and repetitive, creating order across the façade.

Inside, the main living space runs parallel to the view, with kitchen, dining and lounge arranged in one continuous sequence. Circulation is direct: from entrance to living area, and from there outward to the terrace.

Bedrooms are positioned to the sides and upper level, slightly set back, offering privacy while maintaining open views.

The lower level is embedded into the terrain. Here, spaces such as gym, spa and cellar are naturally cooler, with controlled light and a more enclosed atmosphere.

Materials are consistent throughout (natural stone, wood and neutral mineral finishes), chosen for durability and to age with the environment.
